PROGRAMS & TEAMS
Learn to Play (K–2nd) Program
The perfect introduction to the sport!
We focus on the basics — cradling, passing, catching, ground balls, and shooting — all in a fun, supportive setting. Second graders have the option to choose from the Learn to Play program or try out a competitive team.
2nd–4th Grade Teams
Players continue developing fundamentals and learn the rhythm of real gameplay.
We introduce positions, rules, and team strategies through drills and scrimmages designed to build confidence and field awareness.
Every player is encouraged to find their voice, their role, and their love for the game.
5th–6th Grade Teams
Now the real fun begins!
We refine fundamentals and introduce offensive and defensive systems, field IQ, and positional training.
Coaches emphasize decision-making, teamwork, and confidence in every player’s unique strengths.
OUR GOAL: Prepare athletes for advanced gameplay while keeping practices fast-paced and fun.
7th–8th Grade Teams
This level bridges the gap between youth and high school lacrosse.
We focus on advanced stick work, field awareness, and leadership — preparing athletes to compete at the next level with discipline and pride.
OUR GOAL: to help every player step confidently into Wyomissing High School Lacrosse ready to contribute on Day One.
WINTER LACROSSE
Keep your stick warm all winter! Our Boys Indoor Box and Girls 8v8 programs offers a fast-paced, high-energy environment that builds quick hands, smart decision-making, and next-level reaction time.
OUR GOAL: to develop creativity, toughness, and precision — all key to becoming a well-rounded player.
